My favorite Comics of 2024
2024 is around the corner from ending, thankfully. I read lots throughout the year which entertained me, helped me from dissociating too much and helped keep me sane. This list, like last year’s is just a drop in the bucket of all the comics that I read in the year of 2024.
There were the continuing and concluding volumes of manga like that of Ai Yazawa’s Neighborhood Story that wrapped up this year and all the many comics from the amazing Short Box Comics Fair that I adored this year
These are just a few of the comics that made 2024 a whole lot brighter and bearable along the way: featuring some English language/North American debuts, some small press stand outs and several comics worth staying up in bed reading!
12/31/24 — If you’re reading this today — you’ll surely you’ll see a post without many words. Yup, I somehow lost the draft of this best of. I wanted to get thiS out before the new year and I’ll be rewriting my thoughts on each book mentioned here through the week. Best I could do! Thanks! -C
